Overview and mode of action:

HEMOLACT 100 is an innovation for overcoming the problem and lack of absorption of free iron resulting in guaranteed bioavailability of iron preparation compared to usual and traditional iron preparations alone

Specially Lactoferrin which is a new generation oral iron that has long been recognized as a member of the transferrin family of proteins and an important regulator of the levels of free iron in the body fluids and has the ability to enhance iron binding. Preliminary evidence suggests that lactoferrin may represent a promising new strategy for oral iron replacement.

Lactoferrin and Ferrous sulfate together plus indispensable Vit C and Vit B complex, besides zinc, selenium and Folic acid are used to treat iron deficiency of anemia in pregnancy. And in most of severe anemic patients, on the other hand, Ferrous sulphate is the most commonly used treatment for iron deficiency anemia.

Lactoferrin is a protein in animal milk (Bovine milk),named Colostrum, the first milk made after a cow give birth, which is higher in lactoferrin content

Lactoferrin helps regulate how well iron is absorbed into the body from the intestine. It also assists to protect against infections from bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
HEMOLACT 100 is commonly used for low iron levels during pregnancy rather than for severe anemic patients.

Dosage:

for pregnant women and adults

HEMOLACT 100 is very safe

The recommended dose is 1-2 sachets (dissolved in water) daily with main meal or as prescribed by the physician

HEMOLACT 100 has most often been used by adults for up to 12 weeks.

Safety during pregnancy

Due to the natural components and balanced vitamins and minerals contained in HEMOLACT 100 it is safe for pregnant women
